Seeing and Painting Values

PART 1: VIDEO SERIES 2

Learn how to set up a still life draping with directional lighting. Learn how to “see” values from white to black. Paint

PAINTING SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED:

  • Paints – Black, White, and any colour
  • Small Round & Flat Paintbrushes
  • Palette Knife
  • Palette
  • Blotting Paper
  • Rag
  • Water
  • Mixed Media Paper (heavy cardstock)

 

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED:

  • Lamp
  • Material (bed sheet, table cloth, etc.)
  • Miscellaneous items to stack atop a table (underneath the material)
