Paint a Simple Landscape

PART 3: VIDEO SERIES 2

In this landscape painting you’ll get to practice what you’ve learned in previous videos: painting a gradient, stippling, blending, and a little dry brushing. We’ll discuss what makes good composition (for any painting), and general rules to landscape painting. I’ll guide you step-by-step, working from the background forward, in painting a beautiful landscape.

Note: It is unlikely you’ll complete this painting in one sitting. Give yourself 2-4 hours each sitting, until the project is complete. Pause the video when you need a break, and work at your own pace!
