A friend found some old sheet music while cleaning out her mother-in-law’s home after she passed away. She was a professional violinist. Her name is scrawled at the top. I used the title of the music to influence the subject I drew. It turns out the recipient of the piece is a gardener and loves bees! I feel honoured to have been asked to create such a meaningful piece.
